Starlight’s Mission

Starlight’s mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill children, teenagers and their families turning pain, fear and stress into fun, joy and laughter.

About Starlight

Starlight brightens the lives of sick kids by turning pain, fear and stress into fun, joy and laughter. The broadest reaching children’s charity in Australia, Starlight supports sick kids of all ages, regardless of their illness or injury.

Last year Starlight created over 426,000 Starlight experiences for sick kids and their families.

There’s a Starlight Express Room in every children’s hospital across the country and over 130 Captain Starlights deliver joy and laughter to sick kids every day!

Starlight also supports sick teens through Livewire which runs 2,000 or more creative workshops in hospital each year. And last year Starlight granted 525 life-changing Starlight Wishes. Starlight is proud to be the Most Trusted Children’s Charity in Australia. (AMR Charity Reputation Index 2016).
